It's the Law in Minnesota...No Shots, No School!
Minnesota law requires that every child attending school be immunized against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, polio, measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella. The chart "Are Your Kids Ready For School?" outlines the immunization requirements. A student must have all immunizations up-to-date, with a record on file in the health office, prior to starting school.
No student shall be required to receive an immunization which is contrary to a medical reason or conscientiously held belief. The documentation requirements are listed on the Pupil Immunization Record form available in the health office or on our website.
If you need assistance in fulfilling this requirement, please call your school health office. They can assist you in finding local or free clinics.
