Capturing their fourth state championship this year, MHS girls repeated as State Champions in Track and Field. Senior Mia Barron set two new records in Long Jump and Triple Jump. Senior Liz Endy captured the title in the 800 meter run and the 4x800 relay along with teammates Meghan Borowski, Lucy Hoelsscher and Meghan Janssen.

​The Minnetonka Orchestra students earned “Superior” or “Excellent” ratings at the State Contest in 13 performances. The Chamber Orchestra received a "Superior" rating, a perfect score from the adjudicator, and "Best in Site" award. All 13 Chamber members will win "Spotlight in the Arts Awards."

The MHS Band received “Superior” ratings, the highest rating possible, in 25 events. Three Minnetonka performances received perfect scores. Minnetonka’s average elementary class size of 21.14 is the smallest class size among 40 metro-area school districts for the 2013-14 school year according to a study recently released by ECSU. Minnetonka’s average middle school and high school class sizes are also below region-wide averages.
