Open Enrollment Applications (decisions based on date applications are received)
The Minnetonka School District welcomes non-resident students through Minnesota’s Open Enrollment Program. We are accepting applications for the 2013-14 school year.
The State's application deadline for open enrollment is January 15 of each year. Applications are available in November. Families may sign up to join the mailing list for Open Enrollment one year prior to the application deadline. Open-enrollment decisions are prioritize based on sibling preference, date of initial contact and date that registration materials are received. Students who wish to enroll may be accepted on a space available basis.
Once a student is accepted as an Open Enrollment student, the student has the right to continue to attend Minnetonka Schools through graduation, as long as the student maintains continuous enrollment.
Transportation is only provided within the Minnetonka School District boundaries. Open enrollment students may access in-district transportation at an existing bus stop within the District. Register through the Transportation Office.
