Open Enrollment
Minnesota's Open Enrollment Program allows families to apply to send their child to any public school in Minnesota. Families choosing Minnetonka Schools over their home district is at an all-time high. Minnetonka has waived the January 15 deadline and will continue to accept Open Enrollment applications on an ongoing basis, permitted space is available. A small number of classrooms or specialized programs may be closed to open enrollment due to capacity limitations; however, the vast majority of our schools have space available.

Kindergarten Registration
Kindergarten registration events are scheduled at each of the schools in February. If you missed the events, don't worry! Kindergarten registrations are accepted on an on-going basis. Contact the school office for a tour or contact Monica or Lori to complete appropriate enrollment forms.

Minnetonka High School New Student Registration
Minnetonka High School Registration Events are held in January; however, registrations are accepted on an ongoing basis. Handouts from the events are available on line.

Home Schooling
For some families, home schooling is the most appropriate educational choice for their child. Parents with home school students need to complete several forms for the Minnesota Department of Education each year by October 1.
