In July 2002, the MAA organized the Minnetonka 50-Year All Class Reunion Weekend, which brought more than 3,000 Alumni back to the Minnetonka area. The event was so successful, it now takes place every four years.

Dear Alums,
Thank you to everyone who attended the third All Class Reunion on Saturday, July 31, 2010. It was a weekend of fun and friendship!
The weekend kicked off with the Original Stars from American Bandstand concert featuring teen idols Bobby Vee and Fabian. The General Store of Minnetonka, owned by alums Gail and Chris Bollis, put on a wonderful event that raised money for the Alumni Association Fine Arts Endowment Fund and set the tone for a great weekend.
On Saturday morning, more than 400 people attended the Reunion Breakfast at Minnetonka High School -- our biggest crowd ever! Alumni took tours of the school and were able to experience the many incredible changes and enhancements that have been made to the building. Everyone had a great time reconnecting and reminiscing.
Saturday night we wrapped up the weekend with an outstanding Street Dance on Water Street in downtown Excelsior attended by approximately 3,000 alums. It was a beautiful Lake Minnetonka evening with good music and high school memories. It was a great time!
These events would not have been possible without the support and excitement of our fellow alums, numerous volunteers, generous sponsors, the downtown Excelsior businesses, city leaders, the Minnetonka School District and more.
