Dr. Mike Lovett, Superintendent of White Bear Lake Schools, and his family have endowed a $1,000 scholarship for MHS students. During his tenure as Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources for Minnetonka Public Schools, Dr. Lovett was instrumental in planning and establishing the MHS Writing Center, in partnership with the Minnetonka Public School Foundation. Dr. Lovett believes in the power and importance of writing, and through this scholarship, hopes to help students pursue individual writing opportunities over the summer.

Deadline: Student application, writing sample, and interest summary must be received by Tuesday, May 3, 2011.
