Minnetonka High School West Gym
9 - 11:30 p.m.
$10 per person
All ticket sales are final - No refunds will be given
Students may purchase tickets in the commons Sept. 14-18. The cost is $10 per person. You must have a ticket to enter the dance. Students in need of financial assistance should see Mary Beth Wiig in the Guidance Office. If the guest of the Minnetonka student has already graduated or is from a different high school, the MHS student must meet with Principal Erickson to get approval by Sept. 17.
A formal photographer, Life Touch, will be at the dance to take photographs. Pictures are approximately $25. The exact price depends on the package purchased. There will be forms available at the student government room Sept. 14-18. Students should bring money to the dance if they wish to purchase pictures. Students will be able to pick the photographs up in the Student Union the following week.
To be admitted to the dance, students are required to abide by the law and not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Minnetonka Police are present at each dance to ensure student safety.
The Homecoming Dance starts at 9 p.m., and ends at 11:30 p.m. Please have your rides scheduled to be picked up no later than 11:30 p.m. Tickets are sold in the Student Union for $10 per single and $20 per couple. These tickets must be purchased in advance and are non-refundable.
You may go "stag" (meaning alone, or with a group) or as a couple. Homecoming is a semi-formal dance, so please dress accordingly (suits and ties and dresses). Students must wear shoes at the dance so bring comfortable shoes (sandals, flip-flops, etc.).
Most groups or couples (usually couples and singles go together as a larger group) go to dinner before they go to the dance, while some groups have a good meal at home). If you are going to a restaurant, be sure to make your reservations early. Pictures should be taken before the group goes to dinner.
At the dance, make sure you have your tickets with you. There is a coat check available. It is best to leave anything of value at home or secured within your vehicle.
HAVE A SAFE AND SPECIAL HOMECOMING!
