The Skipper Booster Club was started 38 years ago when parents decided to support both athletic and enrichment activities at MHS because they knew that active students usually earn better grades and feel more connected to their school. They also knew that a well-rounded education included a strong co-curricular program that would encourage self-esteem and teach self-discipline.

Throughout the years, Skipper Booster Club fundraising has continued to support both enrichment and athletic activities at MHS. Monies are raised from the sale of spirit-wear at our Booster Store and Web Store, concession stands, our annual Citrus Sale and membership donations. Each spring we receive funding requests from various student organizations, including those lucky enough to have their own booster club to support their efforts. Everyone is eligible! This year, the Skippers Booster Club was able to commit approximately $85,000 in funding to these groups for 2010-2011. Your support is greatly appreciated.

To jump-start the Booster Club efforts that will impact our student organizations and teams in 2011-2012, we hope you will consider purchasing a tax-deductible Booster Club Membership. There are a variety of membership levels and each dollar will positively impact the students at Minnetonka High.
