Jazz Band is an auditioned group open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade band students at MMW. This traditional ensemble will include saxophones, trumpets, trombones, and a rhythm section (piano, guitar, bass, and drums).
Students can obtain audition materials and sign up for an audition time with Ms. Berggren. Jazz Band will meet every Thursday morning from 8:15-9:00AM in the MMW Band Room (October-May).
There will be several performance opportunities throughout the school year. The schedule will be given out in October. |
