Guitar Ensemble is open to any 6th, 7th, and 8th grade band/orchestra students at MMW who are interested in learning how to play the guitar.  NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! 

We will focus on chords, strumming, and note reading.  Students will need to provide their own acoustic guitar (you can keep it in the band room throughout the day and pick it up after school). 

Guitar Ensemble will rehearse every Monday morning that school is in session from 8:15-9:00 a.m. in the MMW Band Room (from October-February).  We will end with a recital and performance tour to local nursing homes and to play for our pre-school students.
