The mission of the Media program is to insure that staff and students are effective users of ideas and information and to  foster a life long love of reading. 

• We teach Information Literacy Skills (how to find, use, and evaluate information from a variety of sources.) 
• We provide information to users through a variety of online  and print resources.
• We offer literary enrichment through our collection development of books and other media materials. 
• We offer professional development for our staff, including curriculum collaboration.

Databases:

All of these databases are available from school. Some of these databases require passwords for use at home. Students should view their list of items in Single Sign On to access password-protected databases.

Boolean operators for searches:

AND, OR, NOT , phrase searching with quotation marks " ", wildcard searching with asterisk * (shift 8 on keyboard)
