The Minnetonka Parent Education Program is aligned closely with the mission of Tonka CARES – the Minnetonka community coalition working to reduce underage substance use. Programming will shift to activities that have an impact on this mission. In the 2011-12 year we will continue the Eat.Talk.Connect! program encouraging families to share regular meals and Our Community Reads. Electronic tips, newsletters, videos, and podcasts will be the primary mode of information delivery.
Watch your school’s PTA meeting schedule for speakers. The PTA/Os will be spearheading speakers this coming year. Currently, there are no plans to hold the Parent Fair.
