Join us June 23-27 for the sixth annual Minnetonka Institute for Leadership, tailored for teachers and administrators in leadership positions. Our goal for this summer’s institute is to meet the needs of our attendees with a diverse menu of options.
New partnerships with MN ASCD and MASSP will help expand our programming and help us create a week where educators can come together to learn, grow, share, and connect as we get ready for the year ahead.

Athletic Directors Institute
The Athletic Directors Institute will focus on organizational leadership; laws and liabilities; and coaching the 21st century student-athlete. This event has been endorsed by the Minnesota State High School League and MIAAA.
Google Apps for Administrators
Join a group of forward-thinking administrators as they spend the day on Monday, June 23rd working with a team of Google-Certified Teachers and Google Apps for Education Trainers. Current (and future) administrators will learn how to integrate key tech tools into their daily leadership practice. Keynote speaker Mark Garrison and a team of local and national experts will share ways they've implemented tools such as Google Drive and Docs, Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Sites and more.

1:1 iPad Technology Institute
Learn how iPads are successfully used in a 1:1 environment by 2,900 grade 8-11 students at Minnetonka High School and middle schools. In-depth background information including curriculum planning, budgeting, training and communication of the program will be shared. Teachers and students will discuss how iPads are used daily in teaching and learning. Learn more.

Leadership Workshop: Assessment & Standards-Based Grading
Join local experts Cassandra Erkens, Nicole Vagle, Ken Simon and Mark Vagle for a team-based workshop focused a cohesive system of assessment from classroom-based assessment to district support of standards-based grading practices. This workshop will help connect the research with your team’s and your district’s daily practice. Learn more.
